Applications are requested from current students of African Universities for submission of paper on “Imagining the Future of Africa 2025.” If you have always had a dream of what your envisaged Africa would be, get it out of your imagination and get it down on paper right away.

Your application paper should provide answers to the primary questions – What does the future hold for the African continent? What are the possible scenarios? How will the future be different from the Africa that exists today?

Issues to be covered and provided positive proposals on –

  1. Economic Challenges
  2. Environmental Challenges
  3. Social and Political Challenges

Awards 

  • Selected students (50 in total) will receive an invitation to join the GDN 15th Annual Global DevelopmentConference to be held from 18 to 20 June 2014 in Accra- Ghana and exchange their views with experts, researchers, policy-makers and economists from around the world.

Eligibility Criteria –

  • Applicants must be currently a student enrolled in an African university.
  • Applicants must be 21 to 29 years old at the time of application.
