The World Tourism Organization invites bloggers and online content creators with knowledge about tourism and its economic, social and environmental impact to post blog in their own blog to compete in the WTD (World Tourism Day) Blogger Competition 2014.
The competition winner gets a round trip sponsorship to Mexico of the 2014 World Tourism Day and also has the opportunity of visiting local projects on tourism in Mexico.
The trip will end with the winner attending the official WTD Celebration taking place on 27 September in Guadalajara, Mexico, alongside UNWTO and tourism stakeholders from around the world.
- Active bloggers, 18 years or above, with a shown track record of posts on their blog.
- Submitted posts (within 500 words) must relate directly to the theme of ‘Tourism and Community Development’ and must be written in one of the three languages – English, French or Spanish.
Deadline: 15th August 2014
